Dr Sam’s is a fast growing skincare start-up established by one of Harley Street’s leading dermatologists, Dr Sam Bunting.
We were approached by the team after they had received a strong recommendation from one of our existing clients. Running a busy international D2C Shopify Plus operation across two store instances, they needed day-to-day hands-on support and theme development services for their existing bespoke theme.

Among other things, our work with Dr Sam’s has been focused on harnessing digital marketing tools to ensure an increase in conversion – improving order value, customer satisfaction, retaining and returning customers.
For instance, we fine-tuned their Rebuy ‘Smart Cart’ setup with catalogue and calendar-led promotions, sampling, and an elaborate multi-tier bundle discount script. Free sampling features allow customers to redeem different gifts according to the contents and total value of their cart, while bundle discounting offers automatic discount when specific combinations of products are purchased together.
We helped the team with various integrations and migrations: whether it be to Klaviyo, looking after all the DNS records to ensure a smooth transition; or to the loyalty and referrals programme Smile.io, customising product pages and the cart to inform customers how many points they'll earn with their purchase at their tier level.
From time to time we also work closely with their team to deliver substantial value on a project basis. One example being to build a highly customisable Shopify Hero section for their homepage which can accommodate multiple text boxes, CTAs, font-sizes, layout and viewport adjustments.
